I want you to know that I love you and that means that I accept you for the person that you are and that I do not wish to change you into someone else. It means that I do not expect perfection from you - just as I know you do not expect it from me.  It means that I will love you and stand by you even through the worst of times.  It means loving you when you are in a bad mood & even when you are too tired to hear my lectures.  It means loving you when you are sad as well as when you are happy.  It means that even though I know some of the things you try and hide from me, I do not judge you but only try and guide you.  It means that I care enough to fight for you as my child and to hold you when you wish I would let go.  It means I will be here to save you when you can’t save yourself.
